Gawdam, I saw the thread title and was like "huh? wtf?" Got my adrenaline going a bit.

Anyway, I hate to inject some actual facts into this thread-of-horror, but, well, I'm going to.

ShapeShifter 1.3 is currently in stable alpha. It has one crasher that I can't duplicate (and it won't be released until I can, and it's fixed). It has two minor cosmetic issues, one of which I don't plan to fix for 1.3 because it's unlikely to annoy people much. It has two administrative items which need attending to. And it needs to support Jaguar, which it doesn't yet, and which is why it's in alpha and not in beta.

I've been telling the testers for about a month now that it'll be ready in about two weeks. You can expect to see it in about two weeks. Sorry, I can't be any more specific than that - no firm dates until final candidate. That lets me stay lazy.

Other companies would probably call this release version 2.0, but we're constrained by the fact that everyone in the world is waiting to be intensely disappointed by our version 1.5, so we have to call this version 1.3. There's quite a bit of new grooviness to look forward to in it.

Is there ever going to be an update on ShapeShifter ??? You people forgot about MightyMouse. When in the H*** is that going to be updated. Note that it needs to be. Minde works perfectly. I was corresponding with some of the gents at Unsanity and they told me that it's right around the corner. Must be a F 'n big corner. They have been sayiing that for both SS and MM for some time now. Patience . . .

sorry if it wasted your bandwidth, but i dont see any reason to take it down. if i cant laugh at people less fortunate than me, then how am i ever going to feel better about my own shortcomings? besides, its very appropriate for this particular thread, and it seems no moderators have had a problem with it yet.

i have a couple suggestions to make to you if you still find it unnerving, keep scrolling and dont quote it, that just makes it appear twice as often as it originally would have.

dont ruin things for the people that can take such brutal imagery, and turn it into something that brightens their day. its not my fault you have to come along and make this out to be something bad. the mentally handicaped are funny, they get help from family and the government (in america), they wash the tables of fast food joints and malls nation wide, and they have very little understanding when it comes to knowing all the evil the world is full of. but i guess since we cant take them for what they are (overly happy and fun to look at) then we should take them for regular people and fire them from their table washing jobs since they dont do as well as a sound minded person, and we should drop them from any kind of financial care the government provides them with since its only a drain on the economy.. and while were being fair, nobody can watch jim carry movies and laugh anymore, since the man is clearly out of his mind. no more money should be made off of his handicap.

also, while we are making the world great, id like to see everyone just turn around and pull the stick out of the B hole of the guy/girl in front of you

For me its not a bandwidth issue but I too find that image offensive and really has no place here and just because you say this isn't cbs news doesnt give you the right to post an offensive picture, where do you draw the line. Showing a person bleeding and gunned down to show a that a thread should be killed?
