New forum needed

With all of the newbies and switchers here, I'm wonder if there should be a forum for them. We're getting plenty of how do I do this, or can I use iTunes to play mp3s, or Why doesn't OSX do [whatever] like in Windows?
Maybe the MacOS forum, which has so much spillover, needs to be rethought, or this could be the area for it.
Call it Switchers' Den or something. It would give newbies a place to search and discuss issues without some of the comments from the more jaded OSX users (me included) while also keeping some of the more basic comments out of the "regular" threads.
It would also be a good place for some "how to... threads".

I would support this. I think at some point 'NN was asking for volunteers to help create a list of FAQs for newbies, but it never materialized.

I think it would be a really useful thing to have. I've really noticed over the last few months how mean many of the veteran posters are to newbs.
If there was a well known place for switcher issues, I think that would go a long way to improving the temperament around here.
