NEW YORK (AP) -- Darth Vader is coming to "The O.C."

The trailer for "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" will premiere during the March 10 episode of the Fox show.

The final installment of the "Star Wars" saga will open in theaters on May 19. The new trailer will be released in movie theaters beginning March 11.

"Revenge of the Sith" is the third prequel to the original "Star Wars" trilogy. It continues the chronicle of young Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), who eventually turns to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader.

As an avid superhero fan, Seth Cohen, the main character of "The O.C." played by Adam Brody, would likely relish the event.

"The O.C." airs Thursdays (8 p.m. EST)

Damn, I am going to be in the Dominican on the 10th! Ah well, I can watch it when I get home.

If it's anything like the previous trailers, it's going to be a million .1 second slices sandwiched together so you have no idea what the thing was... but the nerds all cheer.

I'm sure it will be posted online shortly thereafter, so viewing of O.C. will not be necessary.

Much like a Britney Spears video, it's not so bad if you watch it in mute. If you know what I mean

I like the OC very much,

It is a very entertaining show, and this past week's episode was mighty amazoing.

I also think I would rather skip the trailer so I don't have to watch the OC.

Question is since OC is in HDTV I wonder if the trailer will be.

I only started watching this show recently mainly because my current girlfriend seems totally addicted to it. Then again, my jaw dropped when I saw this creature.

Since FOX would probably latch it on to the broadcast instead of send it to the local stations and have them broadcast it, I would imagine that it would be in HD.

And the trailer is supposed to be put up on that HyperSpace **** a few days before the public premiere so it should be online in pretty high res QT before the OC showing.

The "Summer" character, played by Rachel Bilson, isn't that skinny. She's pretty fly, actually

imagine this. packed theater, silence, and that character spewed that line. i think i was the only one who burst out laughing lol...after i stopped laughing... the theater was still in silence.

bad scripts, worse acting (including Ewan and Liam, which is surprising) which probably means bad directing. No amount of tech special effects, and even J.Williams score could save EP1 and 2. EP3... well...ill goto theater to see it for the special effects....lord knows these movies were made for theater....but a genuine lack of emotion and love in the entire movie making process.

I rented out 'return of the jedi' and fell asleep twice while watching it. but the characters were definately more 'human' than the zombies in EP1 & 2.

Because I was too young to remember the original star wars, can anyone please explain the main points of suckage thus far in I and II.

In contrast, what would make III not suck.

You could just go in with realistic expectations. Say what you want about Episodes I and II, but most of the venom they get is a direct result of unrealistic expectations (and Jar Jar, of course).

Looks like everyone was actually directed this time (with the exception of dude who plays Anakin. I don't think there's any help for him).

I was especially chilled by all of Palpatine's lines.

Looks impressive. Hopefully the storyline and dialog and acting and plot twists will not be lame and childlike.

C'mon, Lucas! Make this your best movie and make the series go out with a bang!

Better than Empire (yes, I know it doesn't really count since he didn't direct it)? Still, this would be one of those aforementioned unrealistic expectations.

Script. Script. Script.

Oh and characters.

While the original ones was pure mythology ( = adventure for you young'uns), the others are about politics and well...something something. There's no drive, no likeable characters and the attempts at humor fall extraordinarily flat.

And that is the main reasons despite what SW-fans will tell you about how Lucas destroyed their childhood by changing things around the way they had imagined it in their heads. (i.e. Anakin creating C3PO etc.)
