I discovered another HUGE advantage of the 24" iMac--if your spouse isn't terribly computer savy, they'll think you just got a new monitor, not a whole 'nother computer!

Depends whether your spouse thinks $2k is a good buy for JUST a display

PS, Windows users have asked me, "sweet monitor! where's the computer"... referring to my eMac
