I think that in the natural progression of things, that it will be a video ipod that syncs with iMovie in order to play your home videos. That seems logical. You can already sync thru firewire with your camcorder, so Apple can use the firewire functionality (which it phased out for music with the ipod) for video instead. The infrastructure for commercial movies is not there yet (unless Apple pulls a rabbit out the hat with iTunes for movies. The home video angle will be an experiment to test the waters with video capabilities and to see how much of an audience there can be for it. I also think that in the progression of things that we should see some kind of wireless capabilities built in
