Hi,
I’m looking for some help in finding a good wireless router to use with my Macbook.
I have cable internet will a Comcast (Terayon) router hooked up to a PC with a Ethernet cable.
I would like to be able to use both the PC (via Ethernet) and my Mac (WiFi) at the same time.
Would this one work for me?

That particular model would work fine. ANY wireless device that mentions either IEEE 802.11b/g compliance or WiFi compliance will work. These are STANDARDS, without any tie to any particular platform.
Apple tends to be more compliant to this kind of standard than Windows-based computer and software makers are, but you will still have very little trouble setting things up. Note that almost all home networking products come with instructions for setting up exclusively with PCs, but this in no way limits your ability to use them with a Mac. I guess they think PC users need that much more hand-holding and instructions in short sentences of small words...

So I decided on the Linksys WRT54G, however my Comcast router only has one ethernet jack.
I have read on other post that I might need an ethernet card for my PC.
Is that true?
Thanks
