Dolphin plays many Wii and Gamecube games perfectly, and will work with real Wiimotes and Wii accessories with an IR sensor of some kind, as well as the Gamecube controller. If you have a really fast Mac you can crank up the internal resolution of games to far surpass the actual Wii and Gamecube, and you can play Wii games in HD. Some users have even experimented with creating their own replacement high resolution textures for some games. LIke other emulators it supports game save states and cheats.
Dolphin now supports Wiimote speaker sound, and this version includes a whole ton of bug fixes, 3D support, and interface changes. It runs on OS X, Linux, and Windows.
