Although sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads might be a little cooler, I guess the next best thing is dolphins and sea lions protecting our national interests. According to the U.S. Navy, these feisty creatures can be trained to detect suspicious divers or other terrorist who want to blow things up in the Puget Sound. I feel so safe now.
Dolphins may protect the nation, one fin at a time
Aren't most terrorist who are against the US from somewhere in the desert where scuba gear is not very practical?

How do dolphins survive in the cold Puget Sound? There have never been dolphins there.

The US Military has been training dolphins for various tasks for a while now. They also use them to dectect underwater bombs and whatnot.
