I read how the security guard at AppleStore SF has been telleing people not to to take any of the AppleStore in San Francisco... no wonder he gave me a dirty look when I shot these last week
I didn't know it was such a big deal!

A security guard has no right to tell people not to take pictures of something when you aren't even on their property...he's just trying to think he is special...

I was expecting some hot chicks. I guess when I read "I have pictures" my mind
goes blank and I think dirty thoughts.

Hmm, I think dark glass would have looked better, but maybe this is kinder to unaware birds (?).

The facade on the San Francisco store is different. It looks like some type of metal. It does look like the Apple logo will light up. I like it better than the Chicago store. The Chicago store's facade is concrete and the Apple logo is just a glass window.

Check out this Wired article about Apple fans breaking into the San Francisco store to take pictures.

I can't wait for this store the SF store to open up. I have nothing to buy from Apple (since I just bought a 12'' PB and an ipod a few months ago). Then again, I'm sure I can find something else to buy.

Anyone in the area planning to go to the grand opening?

I will be going to the grand opening. It's on a Saturday and only about 6 blocks from my apartment. But I read that there will be looooooong line to get in. Kind of like the Keynote.

he cant not let you take pictures of the building, unless you are trespassing. if he takes your camera away, you could probably sue apple for breaking your rights.

That tree really blocks the logo from that angle...I'm surprised it's still there.
