Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here.

I've removed the ads at the top of the forum pages. Hopefully, that'll speed things up until kermit's back on track.

I noticed a problem where some last little bit of the page takes forever to load. Didn't matter if it was T1 or modem or Netscape or IE.

Does this fix that?

Aw, just leave the ads off.
There is this neat little feature in Omniweb where, well, you can kindof block ads
It is so useful when you have a 56k modem shared by 5 computers

Latest word on all of this:

For some odd reason, the mod_perl apache wasn't running, so that was the major cause of the forum slowdown.

Ads will be back up in a moment, since Kermit is.
