Do people post screen savers in here? Well, here we go. I'd been fiddling around with Quartz Composer for a few days, and I figured, why not release this nifty little Metroid screen saver I made? Nothing too fancy, but I thought it was cool, at least.

i put it where the read me said to and it didn't show up, when i went to the screen saver, in the system prefs. 
i'd really like to see this metroid icon screen saver.

It should go in either /Library/Screen Savers, or ~/Library/Screen Savers. If you put it in your own home Library, I believe it shows up below that breaking line in the Screen Saver list box. Its icon is one of those little Quartz Composer-looking icons and not one of the normal screen saver icons in the list (it looks like the RSS feed icon). That should do it! Enjoy.

same here, it doesnt show up at all in my list of screen savers (put it in my home dir's library/screen savers)
im using panther, 10.3.9

Perhaps it doesn't work on Panther? I did not test on it. Dang, sorry. This may be a confirmation from those who are having troubles getting it to show up.
