I have this bad habit of installing and uninstalling different programs and files and such (hey, what fun are these things if you can`t play with em`) and I thought I was getting pretty good at trashing what needed trashing to get back to where I was before.
Problem is, I`ve developed this "pause" whenever I open or use anything. I click on something and there`s a pause of a few seconds before anything happens. It`s not a major problem, just a pain. I`ve gone through all my extentions, control panels and prefs without any luck finding the trouble maker.
Anybody got any ideas?????? pause

Should be careful of the wording... trash the finder preference ... NOT the Finder!

FFR, the AppleShare PDS file is in the root of any shared volume.
Invisible, of course

Remember if you have multiple partitions or drives, and they have been shared as well as the start up disk, they will also have the file...
