hello all
i am new to the mac world. i love my powerbook g4. i also like the screensavers that come preinstalled on the laptop. i would like to know if anyone knows of some sites to get free screensaver for my powerbook. i know there are some software out there that helps you design screensavers. is that the only option i have vs. just downloading? any help would be cool.

thanks!

Search at www.versiontracker.com or www.macupdate.com which will have Screensaver sections (note they are also good resources for finding Mac software in general). There are lots to get, mainly freeware but some shareware ones too.

The best screensaver on earth is "electric sheep" it gets better over time and you can rate it by using the up and down arrows. I've been running it for a year, and the longer it runs the better it gets. it's so insane... seriously let it run for a few months..

That would be the RSS Visualiser. It's one of the default screensavers.
