I am working on developing a better presentation for my Sunday service at my church. Currently, the IT people are using a PowerBook Pro but are simply using black on white text in the most generic of PowerPoint presentations. I am looking to broaden this presentation by incorporating more graphics and video to enhance the service.

What is the best program/software out there for this type of production?

Also, is there a way or a software program out there that will allow me to control behind the scenes what will be displayed on the big screen without having to scroll through slides on the big screen where everyone can see? Right now we are using Keynote, but the problem is that this program will only allow me to see the next slide. This is not always helpful during the singing time, as the leader tends to jump around quite a bit depending on what he is feeling. I would like something that will allow me to control more options behind the scenes in order to respond faster when we get off track. I do have a second mac (MacBook G4) if synching is necessary.

Finally, we will also be looking to connect a video camera to the system in order to have images brought up to the large screens for the people in the back of the chuch who cannot see clearly when we have small presenations in the front.

Any options you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you use the Apple remote and press menu you can scroll through all the slides on the presenter's screen and select the one you want.

Thanks for the advise. I think may have found some software to tackle this issue. I will keep the remote in mind.
