dock thingy.

i don't really have much experience with this laptop, but it is rock solid. only catch other than the low ram is the battery that holds the time seems to be dead.

any ideas what it's worth? $450?

Approximately between $275-$380 on eBay.

Parts are worth more than that on eBay -- look into it.

A well-kept machine will sell for more, but the clock battery is a $30 part and 1/2 hour labor.

Consider keeping it and fixing it up. Mine still works great with 1G RAM and a slot-load DVD writer.
