You used to be able to see the message size and arrange accordingly (a great way to find that 5 meg file filling up your inbox) Any way to do this now (on the mail app or the website)??

Well, originally you stated you wanted to access AB in a "new message" window, where that isn't the case and needed any longer. Now if your wife doesn't use Address Book, I don't have any suggestions. What did she do on the old .Mac web-mail version exactly?

She just stored them in the webmail address book, but nothing's in hers any longer.

Hmm, that does indeed suck.

The webmail address book is (and always was) synced with the program Address Book. If you use one, you automatically use the other.

Ok. It doesn't work for me on Safari either. In fact ... after playing with this a lot more I must say that the only thing this web-mail has over the previous version is the cosmetic aspect. I really really don't like the usability of this new web-site. It borders on being useless.

I loathe to think how bad the performance is going to be with a slow connection (as I'm liable to find in an internet cafe in some countries.)

...unless you didn't tell it to sync or set it up to sync within the ".Mac" System Preferences pane. It never just did it automatically.

One thing to use caution with. If you are using Entourage to sync with an Exchange server you can tell Entourage to use iSync to sync with your address book and .mac address book. If this is the case do NOT also check "Calendar" in the iSync prefs unless you want to lose your Exchange categories.

It *WILL* sync without this checkbox as Entourage will take care of it.

Wow. Thats a slick interface. From the 10 minutes worth of playing I just did, it seems like a really nice upgrade. Makes me wish it wasn't blocked at work.
