For some strange reason, my wifi cuts out on my iPhone when I am at home. Not anywhere else, just home. Sometimes I can use it for an hour, sometimes just a few minutes before I have to turn wifi off/on again. No other device has this issue. Is it an issue with the iPhone or network settings?

I've had that happen on a particular laptop when other devices had fine connections, and in my experience it's been the router at fault, not the client. An easy way to rule out variables is to see if your iPhone's connection to a different router is reliable or not.

It is. Works fine at work and other locations. Doesn't it seem odd that it would only affect one device though?

I'd bet you a steak it's the router. Same thing happened with my brother's MBP before we replaced our old router.

Damn. Classes start in a few weeks, so it will be a while before I can replace the router, unless I buy one at the flea market for $10.

So, router related: Have you used MacStumbler to see how crowded the wifi neighborhood is?

Did a neighbor just add a router on the exact same channel as yours?

Try changing the router wifi channel, try changing encryption, stuff like that...
