No good discussions are happening in this thread. Only requests for invites. It is probably a high search engine return for "venice joost invite".

Perhaps you should just delete the thread.

I know. I reported the Joost thread in Marketplace and I think it's still open.

Personally, I think that all "I'm giving out ____ invites" posts (for anything, like the pig noise site, Joost, etc) should either be deleted or locked, because they get indexed on Google and then people find them through searching for "____ invite" and come here and we get a bunch of newb's saying stuff like "ZOMG ____ invite plz! kthxbai"

Not the kind of crowd that I think we should be attracting.

Heh. I can see it now: "Mommy? What does my name mean?" "It means, 'ok, thanks. Bye.'"

I admit I was in the wrong. I am really sorry then. All I wanted to do is to give out joost invites, I figured that a way of doing that is to filter out the leechers. Thus, i set it up in my blog in a way to "force" people to fulfil a task to get an invite.

Blame myself for not reading the TOC carefully at the start.

I was thinking alongside WIN-WIN whereby, macnn people will still gets their invites, and I get my link.
Please do not misunderstand and feel that I am just some shameless scammer that goes everywhere just to promote my blog.

My blog popularity is one thing. My moral values, another. I believe that I should contribute whenever I can, definitely not spamming. The thread is now closed. I sincerely apologise for my mistake.

No worries.

Sorry if I came across a little terse, but there's been a real influx of somewhat subtly done spam over the last year or so, so my hackles are sensitized.
