Turns gmail into a mountable filesystem in Linux. First thought..please somebody port this to OS X!! second thought...I am going to wring the neck of .mac for being such an embarassment.

Yes! Let's increase the server load on Gmail's systems tenfold so Google has to buy new hardware and start charging for service just to keep the it from becoming unreliable for the folks who actually use it for e-mail.

This is so old. Anyway, it works but its kind of slow. Its also pretty much useless..for me atleast.

The program itself is just a Python program and so will run fine on OS X. The problem is that one of the libraries it uses, FUSE, won't. FUSE talks directly with the Linux kernel, so I doubt it will work with OS X's Mach kernel. I don't see anything about a Mac port of FUSE anywhere either.
