Anyone else notice that many of the people posting around saying they are leaving mac are very new members, only registering within the last month. Many just after this MacWorld. <img border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" title="" src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" />

There have been quite a few, haven't there? Maybe some lurkers are popping up to say goodbye.

I wonder if it's one person with several account names or, just several people whom are very annoyed with the latest developments at Apple Computer.

Oh it MUST be a conspiracy perpetrated by Windows users.

Damn you guys are hilarious.

Apple has a 'press conference' event and pisses-off 90% of their loyal customers....yet you want everyone to think that Windows users are the ones posting negative comments about Apple?

HAHAHAHAHA

edited to add: The Apple apologists have turned into far worse trolls than the Wintel-huggers could ever hope to be.

Hey cool! I represent 90% of the Mac community!

Now that that's established, I think I'd give olePigeon $1.

Nonsuch,

You are ever the conspiracy theorist!! Didn't you read TN's post? 90% of Apple's customers are pissed off so that must translate into a rash of people rushing to the MacNN forums and making thier first post about leaving Apple. There is some statistical significance, but TN's could probably help you figure it out better than I. He's really good with stats and conspiracy theories.

BTP:

Funny thing is, a year ago I wouldn't have considered this situation the slightest bit significant. Then I read confirmed accounts of Microsoft using the names and addresses of dead people to create fictitious letters of support to send to legislators during the antitrust trial.

I am not saying that the situation here on the 'NN is any kind of Microsoft conspiracy, and I dislike conspiracy theories in general. I'm just saying that once a company proves itself to be far more craven and deceitful than you had ever thought possible, nothing can be entirely ruled out.

Whoa! Dead people put up as endorsing Microsoft products... Is that really true, and here I thought it wasn't possible to despise Redmond any more then I already do.
