i have this 30gb hd separated in 2 partitions. i don't want that anymore when i'll install panther.
i want to backup all my stuff to an external 120Gb hd that i have. can i do a clean install of panther on the old one and then put my home folder back in? how can i import my stuff like pictures for iphoto, email accounts, transmit username/password, bookmarks, etc..
or is it possible to join the 2 partition without reformatting? i doubt but who knows...

If your machine can boot OS 9 you can do it with this program:

Also maybe I'm making this up, but I thought someone posted that Panther's Disk Utility allowed for departitioning (with destruction of the smaller partition)... can someone with Panther running check on this?
