Does anyone know if the two have exactly the same LCD panel and are identical? From the description it certainly seems so. If you have the iMac and use it as an external monitor for another device will it produce the same image as the Cinema Display? Anyone have both yet?

I don't have either, the gurus here told me they were so I trust that they are.
I miss the days of the G5 and XPS Pentium 4 running side by side as high-end machines.
