I thought it was kinda rediculious to release Metroid, Mario and Smash Bros.... all in the same quarter, especially when the Wii is doing so well. If I were Nintendo, i'd release Mario for the holidays and release Brawl at the time of the year when Wii(and video games in general) sales are the lowest.
Is it just me or is SSB just too fast ? i remember playing it once on the cube...and i felt like Towlie playing videogames.

Yeah, you definitely need great reflexes to be any good at that game. Fortunately, that's exactly what I have, so I'm pretty damn good.
