Not sure if I am going to buy it outright or rent it from Gamefly. Regardless, I loved the first one and the second looks to be just as good. Anyone else thinking of picking it up?

I may pick this one up. It actually sounds better than the first. The force powers in this one look more impressive. I wanna bring down a Tie Fighter!

I didn't really enjoy the first one (and I'm a huge Star Wars fan), so I'm definitely not gonna drop $60 on this one.

Meh. Just not the same since Lucas made the Force into some sort of bacteria.

The Force isn't bacteria. The Force is an energy field created by all living things. The midichlorians are the source of a person's Force potential. Or would you prefer that everyone has equivalent potential? And if there isn't a biological link, how could the twins inherit their abnormal Force potential from Anakin?

I can never understand why people are bugged by that little thing. I think the Millenium Falcon flying from Hoth to Bespin without lightspeed, or Luke claiming he felt goodness in Darth Vader (When exactly? When he cut your hand off?) are bigger issues than midichlorians.

I played Force Unleashed for a while after it came out for Mac, but was distracted by other things.

Just played the demo. It felt less fluid and well put together than the first TFU.

Less fluid? The original was already pretty bad in that respect.

Yeah I know, the movements seem even more janky. Also the graphics didn't seem as good, but I was playing on a 32" 720p telley rather than the 22" 1080p reference monitor that I played through the original on

I decided to pick this one up to fill in some time this summer. From the reviews, it doesn't sound like it's too long of a game, which my be good in my case. I want something that will take a month or two at most, and if I finish it in a month, I can always find another game.

Actually it sounds somewhat similar to prototype in game length, and the fact that playing the game the second time thru, you get to keep your character's strengths and powers, so it makes it easier to play it through on hard difficulty.

I'm really starting to hate Boss fights. Especially end of game ones. I mean seriously, why do I have to go through 2-4 waves of fighting the last Boss in a game to get to the end of the game? In this case it's fighting Darth Vader. In Prototype 2, it was fighting Alex Mercer. And in the Force Unleashed 2 it seems they make it even more annoying, by having these other little enemies to annoy you while you're trying to defeat the Boss.

I'm almost done this one. I just finished my second run through the campaign to get all the holocrons and to finish off a few other achievements I missed. Now I'm gonna try and get a few more challenges done. Man, some of these are easy, and other are really hard.
