Hi, I am looking for a new action / strategy game to play with a friend.

we loved Myth2 + ww2 plugins
battlefield 1942 was too laggy
C&C generals won't run online on my pc, but will on his.. LAN plays really laggy
we are both Axis and allies fans (boardgames) !

any recommendations? pc or mac?

has there ever been a multiplayer strategy game or adaptation that is about WW1? There should be enough material to make an interesting game..

WWII: Online was great when it first came out...dont know if it still is. The game is open ended like Battlefield 1942, so no strategy what so ever.
