My Macally Qball optical trackballs are giving up the ghost. My favorite feature is that the Macally software allows you to set the scroll wheel to page up/page down with one click in each direction. Works in Leopard. The software is no longer available on Macally tech support, so I'm using my archived installer.
It's incredibly useful for webpages, for documents and spreadsheets. Incremental scrolling is so lame once you get used to this. And yes, I know that hitting the space bar on webpages will scroll down, shift-space will scroll up, because I had to use that for awhile. Just not as convenient as one click where you already have your hand on the trackball.
Here's the question: are there any mice where the mfg software allows this, or is there 3rd party software where this option can be set? In particular, is there a trackball that has this feature?
