I think you need 110 wins for the Elite license. You're farther along than me. I haven't done any events since I got my burnout license.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

Man, it's after 11pm pst and X-Box Live is still down. Apparently, they're getting ready for an upgrade.

Via Kotaku:
In August, the Xbox 360's Netflix service, which is available to paying Xbox Live Gold users who also have a Netflix account, will be upgraded to allow users to add movies to their queue via the 360, rather than strictly through their PC.

Also in August, Microsoft will launch a Games on Demand service, which will allow consumers to download full-sized Xbox 360 games to their harddrive. Based on the games shown at E3 in a mock-up of the service, expect these to be older games, like Lego Batman, Oblivion and Mass Effect.

n the fall, Xbox 360s will gain the ability to be receive Facebook and Twitter updates on their 360. The integration won't send status updates at you while you're playing games, but it will let you check up on your friends and link their accounts to their Gamertags for better social networking without the need of a computer.

In the fall, the Xbox 360 will offer Last.FM integration to Xbox Live Gold members.

Also in the fall, the 360 will enable users to try Instant-Streaming in 1080p, an on-demand video service that will allow 1080- video to be streamed without caching, buffering or delay for users with an 8mbps Internet connection or better.

Funny, when I was using the PCPD Special, I had trouble beating my Paradise Bridge time that the Nighthawk set, but I later beat the PCPD time with the Nighthawk much more easily.

I feel a little better about beating stogie's times with a car rated 4 Mph slower than the one he's using.

It's also been noted that the heavier cars can exceed these speeds on a decline.

(Note: Not listed - the new Annihilator)

Great, Burnout wiki doesn't agree with all of these. Bogues, we need to do some head-to head tests.

I played a bunch last night and a few wins away from finishing the B license and I think I've got around 19 cars or so. I'm having a blast playing this game.

I plan to play some more of the regular map and then buy the Island DLC, then I will definitely join you guys online.

No, I haven't played since the time listed on that graphic.

And yes, I wouldn't mind a sortable leaderboard for each road.

So I was looking at the Bike Challenges, and there's a lot less of them than I realized, so I think we should try to knock some of them out.

The Elite license was a joke. Not a joke as in easy, but a joke as in this is completely pointless and dragged out. By far the biggest strike against the game for me.

I got some done last night. The timed ones at the higher levels aren't that hard either.

I'm nearing 350 completed challenges... I'd really like to bang out of the (car) 4s tonight if possible.

I'll try to make it home by 8pm PST but I'm not going to make any promises. Also, there's a new iPhone 3G S waiting for me at the house so I will be tending to that first.

I'll be on. Not sure I'm willing to 38 more 2 player challenges again, (I'll get you up to 25) though. I was thinking we should open a room to do high player bike challenges, or car ones, if you like.

mdc deserves some kudos, I checked and that guy is already on his A license and 1/3 of the way through the game. Looks like a natural that needs to come online.

BTW, I noticed the bike burning routes are worthless as far as completion % is concerned, FYI. Obviously the car ones are still fun because its a competition.

I haven't bought Big Surf Island yet so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to play with you guys.
I'm busy this weekend with a bunch of wedding stuff for a friend so I'm not going to be available, but I'll probably buy the expansion next weekend and join you.

I got like 45 challenges left until I get my elite license. Takes forever to get!

I set all time road rules challenges and got my car. Still working on the showtime challenges.

Can anyone help me get only 11 more challenges complete for 3 player? Shouldn't take long. I'll be on tonight.

Not really. I haven't touched my xbox this past week because I've been busy making a farewell video for a friend of mine. Now that the video is finished, I can go back and finally complete Ghostbusters.

Just kidding... I didn't care. It gave me the opportunity to finally get the "speed king" achievement and make a large dent in "crashing all over the world." Oh well, back to Ghostbusters I go...

I quit playing this about a year ago because some of the achievements are REDICULOUSLY difficult to get....But anyways I do want to get back into the game and saw if for 20 bucks on mobgob.com....Is that what the game is down to now? I checked ebay and amazon and they had similar prices...That's CRAZY....anyways....hopefully these achievements come a little easier this time around...

Yeah it's $20, but there is the Cops & Robbers pack for 800 pts ($10) and Big Surf Island for 1000 pts ($12.50). There's a lot of us that play it and it's fun as hell. I recommend Big Surf Island if you get it.

As long as you take down guys that have a camera, it'll work. You don't need a camera yourself to get it.
