OK, I went there last summer. The main thing is the CN Tower. Oh, wait, the ONLY thing is the CN Tower Cheap place to eat (but nice) is the Spaghetti Factory. That's all I can remember - was only there a couple of days. Didn't seem to be much else to do though.

I have been to toronto 3 times within 6 months this yr & last. I cant rem the names but once you are down there, you can basically pick any place to go. all the resturants, bars, & clubs are within walking distance.

The CN Tower? Never even saw it when I was there.

Here's what I found pretty interesting:
- The science museum. Very big, lots of interesting stuff, pretty darn neat overall, and I bet interesting even if you're not so interested in science. Really made for "fun" stuff for youngsters and adults alike.
- Niagra Falls, if you can make the drive out there. The drive itself is pretty nice, some neat fruit places and such. Nice countryside, though not amazing or anything.
- A baseball game in their stadium... but I'm a sucker for stadiums and baseball, so hey, go figure
A basketball game would be equally cool, I'm sure.
- Watching TV in a different time zone... wait, are they in central time too? If so, darnit. (come to think of it, I didn't watch a lick of TV in Canada...)
- Future Shop. I dunno, we don't have them in America, it was kind of neat.

But seriously, the science museum sticks out in my mind... well, Niagra Falls, too

Eastern time.

You should go to the eaton Centre. With your American money you could probibly buy out the whole mall.

CN Tower

Eatons Centre (big mall)

Skydome

Air Canada Centre

Woodbine if you like horse racing

The lakeshore is always nice to see, but not so much in the winter.

Compusmart (downtown TO, 1 block from the eatons centre) should have all your mac necessities

The night life in TO is wikkid, I highly suggest going to whatever bars you can

Science centre

Royal Ontario Museum

Toronto Zoo (just outside of TO)

Canada's Wonderland (big theme park)... dont know if it's open this time of year though. (it's just outside of TO too, in Vaughn)

hmmm

Ontario place during the summer, but I'm sure it's closed right now.

There are plenty of Huge malls all around TO, especially some ones in scarborough.

oooo ooooo

Sam the Record Man, and Sunrise and HMV (music stores) all have mega stores downtown. Great shopping

The ghetto's, without seeing them your trip wouldnt be complete

thats all I can think of for now, oh yeah, and there are plenty of sports museums and stuff like that...

University of Toronto... lots of buildings from the 19th Century. If you like taking pictures, it will be a good place to visit.

There are some good quality bar on Yonge St. that offer lap-dance, you might wanna try some.

Futureshop has some of the dullest people I've ever seen working there. Actually it's mildly amusing to confuse them. I remember buying a computer there a few years back (before I saw the light). For fun I decided to ask the pesky salesperson what the bus speed of the computer was. So, a few minutes later after he'd consulted his little book, he returned, looked at my father and timidly mumbled something about 100MHz. Good times.

Toronto has sensational restaurants, especially when it comes to ethnic food. I had some of the best Vietnamese food ever there - almost as good as the Vietnamese Canteen in London. The Spahetti Factory is not a restaurant, its an abomination. Don't be fooled.

Nightlive is good too, if you like clubbing. The bars I thought looked a bit dated, but that didn't stop people from partying until the early hours.

Go here for a description of Toronto neighbourhoods and things to do.
