Rather odd that there has not been a release of a new developer preview of Panther this week. Does anyone think this mean that Apple really are final-candidating the software for an announcement next week when Steve is in Paris?

On a side note, it is interesting that 10.2 and 10.3 are on x59 releases. They did release 10.2.8 6R59, while the current 10.3 is 7B59.

I think we will see a few more builds before it went gold.

I bet that we'll see something newer than 7B59 at Apple Paris

7B64 was seeded internally, so we should see it in a few days. It isn't ready for FC, IMHO. Still some FTP issues in Finder, some GUI weirdness in Finder and I still lose audio on my cube.

This last one was released on Saturday, it hasn't been a whole week yet. Plus, we've been getting them on the weekends and even one on Labor Day. That means someone was working on those days to get the build out. I'm not going to complain if the next one takes a little longer than it has recently.

Here we come 10.3 *Fanfare*

(That's my guess)

By the way, 7B59's opening registration part was UNF--Kbeliable!!!!!!!! It was soo cool. And it runs more faster, FYI.

I think we can do without threads about how builds are NOT seeded. We have plenty dealing with threads that are. Apple will seed stuff whenever they want to. I doubt they have a "we must stick to weekly seeding" policy.

Well, 7B59 was posted on Friday the 5th at ADC (not saturday) and I'm sorry if the moderator thinks I'm trying to interpret some sort of "policy", but I think it's kind of interetsting that they were coming out every few days. Then a week went by. I'm not complaining that it's been a week--I thought it meant that something good might come out in the next release, or some official word on where they stand on the builds or something.

I just wanted to let you know that the new movie in registration app in 10.3 is awesome! I love it!

Also, 10.3 runs much faster than 10.2 does.

HMM, FTP issues in the finder? that didn't stop them from releasing 10.2.

This is true. Some have gone out to select developers only, who stick to their NDA
Always on the run...

So the Audio issues are still there in OS X 10.3? I have disappearing audio on my cube running 10.2.6. Once the sound is gone and I reconnect the USB speakers I get a Kernel Panic. I am still hoping it will be fixed in Panther.
