Borland has just released information on its upcoming JBuilder X IDE for the Mac, based on Java 1.4. Great news!

Check out www.netbeans.org for a completely free Java (and other languages too) IDE. I haven't delved too deeply into it, but it seems like a serious tool for Java development.
