I've read that Macromedia Studio MX 2004 applications are compatible with source control. Press releases specifically mention SourceSafe. As far as I can tell, this is only true for WINDOWS versions of Dreamweaver/Flash/etc. Dreamweaver MX 2004/OSX has the checkout/lock feature that you can use with FTP site directory. But I want something that can integrate with VSS (or better yet CVS). I have found plugins for WINDOWS version that will allow CVS integration, but I want that in the OSX version.
Is the only option an external CVS application like CVL or MacCVSClient?
I can't find much on this topic--perhaps developers don't use source control for these app? (I don't think that can be true--but please let me know if it is) Maybe there is a better osx-macromedia site out there, but I have generally been able to find any information on any osx-related topic here, so I thought I would start here. Please refer me to better sites if it would help.
