Dear all,

After using Fire for a day (ICQ and AOL) the app decided to freak out and crash harder than any other X app I have seen. It even forced my other running apps to freak out. Since then, many things have been odd. Processes will take forever to execute, Appletalk (TCP/IP) filesharing is a mess even when booted in OS9.

For instance, I tried to copy some Quak files from my PowerBook to my G4 (both booted in OS9) and the Powerbooks wouldn't let me because it thought the 600 mb was 600 gb.

Anyone have any ideas what might have gotten hosed when Fire went down?

Yeah, UNIX is like that with HD's and crashing. Run an x-compatible disk utility over the drive and see how it is...
