I'm wondering if there would be any pitfalls to upgrading my single 450 to a gigabit ethernet motherboard. I think I may need new mounting screws. Actually, I've upgraded everything else with the exception of the mobo, power supply, and fan. I hope to one day upgrade to dual cpu since my current mobo doesn't support it.
I actually saw one on eBay but was outbid by some bozo by one buck. B*****d!
Any suggestions would be helpful.
First, this thread belongs in the Mac Mod forum. Next, the port layout on the back is different, you would need to mod the rear access plate. Also, the CPU position changes a bit, you may need to mod the heatsink for the door to close.
