Wow...someone on Apple's web team isn't doing their job!

http://www.apple.com/switch/

At the bottom, it says "Digital Nirvana starts at $499" (it doesn't anymore...). The link that graphic points to, http://www.apple.com/switch/choose/ , doesn't even exist!

Then the "Reasons" pages all make reference to outdated products like iMac G5s, wrong prices...

No real point, I guess - it's just weird to see something that used to be a prominent part of Apple's site so neglected.

Heheh..naw, that wasn't my point. You just hardly ever see mistakes on Apple's site of this magnitude. I mean, yeah, there was the whole "Premature Specification" deal, and a few other things, but...a whole section of the site?

Oh, and by the way: Happy 5th Birthday, Mac OS X!

They don't advertise / push the Switch campaign anymore, it's just like how there are a couple stray links on their server from the old red/black late 90's site-design.

*shrug*
Here's to the crazy ones..

"Digital Nirvana" is a really lame tag-line anyway.

it's because this page pictured a guy with a boner, holding his powerbook (I'm not even joking)

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:...switch/choose/

(and it's digital nirvana, indeed, it used to look like it, at least)

That is crazy! Great catch on that picture, that dude is in digital nirvana right now with that powerbook. Just a touch excited there!

Wow. I can't believe no one noticed that when they were putting together the website.

That's *ahem* bad...

Yeah, I figured I was due for starting a pointless thread. There'd been so many recently, it just seemed like my turn.
