My 2nd gen. Ipod Nano's battery drains even when off at the menu level (not "paused" on a song) and locked. I've tried the reboot/reformat options without any luck.
Any ideas on how to fix it without shipping it to Apple Repair (I purchased it online)? Thanks in advance-

The iPod will always have a slight battery drain. It's "off" mode is more akin to a "sleep" or "standby" mode.

This is different...if I use it for one hour and then turn it off, the battery continues to drain...not a little bit but "as if" I were using it.

Then maybe it's time for a trip to the local Genius Bar. *shrugs*
