I recently got a Mac Pro and since I'm used to having the remote that came with the iMac I'm getting rid of I thought I'd just add the IR receiver to the Mac Pro. It would seem a simple task as there are internal USB connectors and the front grill has numerous holes that are just about the right size for a standard sized diode. The problem is that I don't want to get an IR sensor that will need custom drivers.

Does anyone know part numbers or a place to buy the components Apple uses. I guess I could just find a broken Mini or something like that at work and take that one, but it'd be useful to find an reliable source.
