No accusing me of bias. One is a conservative and one is a liberal.

I like listening to Stossel. He's not afraid.

Geraldo Rivera makes my skin crawl. He seems oblivious to his surroundings and I can't understand why anyone would hire him to do the news.

I did not vote because I don't agree with the way the poll is worded.

I am of ALMOST the exact opposite opinion.

Stossel seems calculatingly scary to me. Where Rivera is like a big shaggy dog who's heart is in the right place but he is kinda clumsy and he's an older dog but he still wants to be the top dog and you know even though he still has it, it aint the Piss & Vinegar of his prime. But would you want him guarding your herd?

Would you want Stossel?

I'd pick Rivera. He's less scary.

But Stossel actually informs his audience whereas Rivera over reacts and seems oblivious. I just can't get his early talk show out of my head. The KKK/chair episode and the Hoffa special. Rivera overblows what he has to say.

Please. Stossel wants to "prove" his opinion is the only one that matters, by any means necessary, just like Jerry.

Seeing as how I'm accusing them both of doing the same thing, I don't see how you can say I'm biased.

So, what's the point of this thread?

You are simply announcing that you think both John Stossel and Geraldo Rivera are "Unethical, Sensational, Attention-Whore "Journalist" With a Mustache"? With no points to discuss?

Weird.

There is a great deal of merit in the idea of airing an issue. Why did we watch the Presidential Debates? We like comparing two similar but different options. We know how we feel but we want to hear the points for the other choice or we may want to hear the points we aren't knowledgeable of, for both sides.

Stossel isn't conservative, he's a libertarian. There IS a difference.

Rivera is a moron.
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

I've liked Stossel ever since that I watched that video in Government where he narrated it.

Funny guy.
