The thread title explains it all, I'm looking for an app native to OS X that basically does what print2pict does.

What does p2p do that Save as PDF doesn't do on the print menu?

Print2pict actually picked up individual layers in an image, for example if you had a figure in a pdf document and cropped it out print2pict would seperate different elements...

I think Print2Pict is the program you hope to emulate, not the program you want to print. What, specifically, are you trying to do?

Chuck, that is exactly what I am looking for... I'm looking for a program that does what print2pic does. Print2pict is a virtual printer driver previews & saves printed pages to files of various formats... However, it also lets you to cut out images from documents (pdfs, etc) and saves them as a separate image and separates the image you are cutting out into several layers so that they can be edited and formatted to your liking.
