I just got an ibook g3 from ebay, and now I want to add wireless support. I'd like it to support 802.11B and G, work with OS 10.3, and have an external antenna connector if possible. I understand that there are no drivers for the Linksys products. How do the Orinoco cars work? http://www.proxim.com/products/wifi/client/
ONe other question: If a card (such as the Orinoco Silver) have "64-bit encryption", does this mean they won't work on networks using 128-bit?
Thanks for your help,
cannibal bob

There is no PCMCIA slot on your iBook, right? That means you have to use an Airport card, one of the original 802.11b type. And these do not have external antenna options, but iBook reception is pretty good.
