Right. Dumb question time.
Is there a way to import from a CD and see all the tag info without connecting to the CDDB? Song names, album, etc?

I got a LOT of music to put in and only a 56k connection. I don't want to add to the phun by sitting there and manually typing in EVERYTHING.

Suggestions?

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

I'm nearly certain that being connected is the ONLY other way of avoiding typing out everything. I dont think its a big deal if you stay connected, if you can that is.

Sorry

CDDB is fast even on a 56K, if that's what you're worried about.

You can download the freedb database here, but it's 211MB. So uncool on a dialup connection...
Plato--what's a "Chickie Run"?

If you select all the songs and hit "Get Info" you can edit all their information at once (Performer, album, year etc.) that would reduce how much time you spend anyways...

Well, downloading from work is no big deal. I can pop it onto a CD. BUT. How do I direct iTunes to use the local database?
