6th Graders Have Sex in Classroom

"...during school hours in a classroom with an experienced teacher present, two sixth graders completed the act of intercourse...at least ten students were witnesses. No disciplinary actions were taken against the teacher... All teachers were told to keep quiet."

Sex in class in 6th grade is pretty sick. My buddy intercours'd a girl under a portable when we were in 7th grade. Had he done that in class I'd think it'd be pretty weird though.

It's time some people made the distinction between what goes on in ones imagination and what takes place in real life.

You should encourage their making that distinction, not blurring it.

Oh come on. All these reports of kids nailing their teachers, when the teacher is male, he gets assraped in prison for 10 years. When the teacher is female, and hot, she just loses her job and switches school districts. Why? Because the judge, and all the jury know what they were thinking when they were that age, and how totally sweet it'd be to bag a teacher.

There is a double standard, but that does not mean that's the thought that enters every single heterosexual kid's head. Nor does the kid's willingness make it appropriate. Speaking for myself, there were a couple of decent looking young female teachers at my middle school, but I did not fantasize about them. I was attracted to girls my own age. Same was true in high school. Now in college, on the other hand, I was attracted to a pretty young professor - that much is true. I got compliments on my work and an A from her but nothing else.

And who knows? Those kids might grow up thinking, "I was raised just fine." And then, after they reach adulthood, act out what was imprinted on THEIR young psyches.

"It's ok for 6th graders to have sex (in or out of school) just as long as they aren't caught."

Now. Let's have those screwed up adults move in next door to your family or near your kids' grade school.

eh, I had friends in college that I didn't think were mature enough to have sex. there just isn't a licensing system to get ass so as long as anyone can do it, I don't see how we can set a specific age on when it is appropriate.

that being said, I think those kids will be messed up for life and the millions of kids that hear about this on the news may be tempted to try it as well.

Those kids did it in class on purpose, to gain attention. Like there's no better place to sneak off to. Whatever happened to under the bleachers?!? If they had a lookout, that's forethought. The teacher shouldn't be fired for their misbehavior. Shop classes are big and have large machinery to hide behind.

The second article said that the "10 kids seeing it" reported was wrong, there was one kid as lookout. So no one has been scarred who wasn't in on the plan.

I don't know how sheltered you were growing up, but we definitely knew the meaning of sex at 11 or 12 here.

Anyway, biologically the body is ready to have sex at that age. Anything else is just culture-imposed.

Biologically, most girls are not really ready to have children at that age, no. Emotional maturity is an entirely other dimension that is partially cultural, but not without basis.
