Think secret had some cool info on the next point update for X (10.2.4) and it adds support for Quadro4 980XL 900XL 750, as well as ATI's FIREGL line. That's one major step closer to real pro 3d and graphics on the mac platform. woo hoo!!

I don't believe _anything_ those rumor sites say before I actually see it. That way I'm keeping myself from getting disappointed over and over again.

Look at the software they have been buying up... This is a logical next step in the evolution of Mac.

I anticipate an entire new classification of desktop from Apple - Workstations. Huge, mind blowing machines that will cost 5000-10000. It's a market I think they can succeed in ... we shall see!

I think they'll move into work stations after the 970s come out. Although really what can work stations do that a pack of Xserves can't?
