It's easy - they are at their best when they are on adventures together!
Brian: Oh, man! We're screwed. We're lost in the desert, we have no food, no water and our camel is dead from exhaustion.
Stewie: And I had named him and given him a back-story. Chucky had the biggest hump of the camels in his village. He was picked on for it. But then there was a terrible drought and Chucky went to the oasis, because he was like that. He drank and drank, and stored enough water in his massive hump to slake the thirst of the entire...
Brian: Cut the maudlin crap. We're in trouble here. It's below freezing, and it's getting colder. We're gonna die unless we do something drastic.
Stewie: What?
Brian: We must slice open our camel's stomach and shelter ourselves in his entrails.
Stewie: Eviscerate Chucky? I won't do it!
Brian: Look, we're gonna die if we don't.
Stewie: All right. Oh, God! It's like Orson Welles' autopsy.
Brian: All right, just hold your breath and go. What are you doing?
Stewie: Wiping my feet. I don't want to track any sand inside. Once you get it in there, you can't get it out. Oh, God! I just threw up in his lung!
Brian: I know it's gross, but when you're desperate and you stare at death, you have no choice but to...There's a Comfort Inn.
Stewie: Really?
Brian: Yeah. Good luck for us, huh?
Stewie: You know, once you feng shui the organs, it's kind of cozy.

Family Guy is the most idiotic, brain-dead, self-gratuitus piece of **** shown on public television. It is also the biggest example of the Emperor's Clothes syndrome in entertainment history.
Family Guy has the anti-Midas touch of comedy. Everything it touches turn to ****. Fantastic to see people complementing it.

Hrm.....
Seriously dude, if you don't find Family Guy funny, then you have some sort of issue. It's face paced, sometimes it brings back jokes from many episodes ago, it has a great range of characters, great dialogue, and it pushes the envelope instead of staying 'safe' and whithering away into something lame like the Simpsons. This is also why it is incredibly successful, and why you are wrong.

Cashy cashy cash. I don't have ADD at least
I guess I don't like 'face' paced things, whatever the heck that is. The recycling of jokes is oh so smart.. wait.. no the other word *lazy*.
The characters are all some stereotypes you've seen somewhere else. There is no range of them.
It's idea of pushing the envelope isn't funny. It's just 'pushing the envelope'. It's a cartoon. A cheap cartoon.
It shows.
Defending Family Guy is the most amusing aspect and the most clear 'Emperor's Clothes' thing. "Surely you find this funny, for only a stupid person would not find this funny!"
Well, it's not funny. It never was.
PS: I don't watch the Simpsons anymore. Outgrew that humor when I was 12. That's fifteen years ago.

Sorry to stop the circle-jerk, but in my opinion FG is the saddest and over-rated turd put on TV. I really can't think of anything more boring on TV.
The weather raises more interest with me.

However, I like Robot Chicken. That's mildly amusing and sometimes hits the nail on the spot. The Star Wars RC was actually funny more than not. I'm sure if FG would make a Star Wars sketch episode, it would be a snorefest. Oh wait... it already happened didn't it?

So you watched Seasons 1-3? Wow, some sense of humor you have.
Anyone who outgrows the humor of the Simpsons (not the new episodes) never had humor to begin with. I figure that at 12 you only got about 30% of the jokes written in to the Simpsons, but I guess you were to busy moving on to 'funnier' things.
FG doesn't hold a candle to Simpsons, but I still like it.
Would you have any recommendations of hilarious animated shows coming out of Spain? Any?

No, no, Futurama is just Simpsons humor framed in the future...therefore noone over the age of twelve can appreciate it.

I find it amusing that I hated Futurama when it came out. Thats what I thought it was, the Simpsons only in some lame space setting (odd that a nerd like me didn't find that appealing, but the Simpsons were still ok then). Now its my favorite cartoon of all time.

It takes some time (as Dakar said) to warm up to it. I also still liked the Simpsons when it was out and didn't appreciate Futurama when it was still on TV.
That said the writing in Futurama is absolutely brilliant at times, and I'm always a sucker for a good joke involving robots.
Seasons 2&3 are pure gold, I dunno what happened in Season 4 (maybe they were aware of the coming cancellation) but it doesn't have the spark the other Seasons do.
it will certainly be interesting to see if they can resurrect it in the coming years, without making it as awful as the last 6 Seasons of Simpsons.

Season 1 of the Simpsons was a bit meh, but 2-5 were very good. Then it went downhill and never recovered.
Futurama is and was always good.
FG is and was always awful, American Dad is as bad as FG. South Park is pure genius.
That is all of your questions worth replying to. The rest, not so much.
