Hi!

I've transferred a recording over from a Mini Disc player to my computer (it's now in AIFF format), and I wanted to be able to split the recording up into different tracks and record it into mp3s or another format...

However, I haven't been able to find a program that will do this well. I've set out markers (in Sound Studio) for each of the tracks.

Can anyone give me any suggestions? I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Is there a way to automate the encoding of the tracks into MP3s? I had a little look at it, but it seemed pretty cumbersome to export all of the tracks, one-by-one.. Unless I'm missing something?

Thanks!

If you've set markers in Sound Studio, you should be able to Split by Markers in the Edit menu...then just drag all the resulting files to iTunes and you can have them all imported as mp3s. Should be pretty hands off.
