what app is apple retail store page maps made with?

http://www.apple.com/retail/sanfrancisco/

http://images.apple.com/retail/sanfrancisco/images/map_sf020904.gif

there is probably 100 or so maps there, all nice and aqua-ie and nice,

I really want to make a map to my house and some other places that look like that, to put on my site.

Is there a specific application that could do this, maybe a photoshop plug-in, though I dought it, or some vector app.

Please Help....

They will be done in Illustrator, using some of the resorces thay have from doing the Aqua press mockups. Nothing special, just under an hours work.

so probably they already had vector maps?

I would be surprised that they would redraw all of those maps, I guess you might just be able to trace a map in illustrator?

Those maps aren't that detailed. Any competent graphic artist could create them. There's no reason to think the maps were "generated" from some existing source.

Yah, looks like an illustrator file brought over to photoshop for final tinkering.
