Over the years, Apple has used 34 different processors for everything from the Apple I to the Xserve G5 to the iPod. How many of these different processors do you own?

To help, I made a shortlist of all major processors Apple has used. This includes all desktops, laptops, servers, Newtons, and iPods. I'm not counting printers, AirPort base stations, etc.

Currently, I own 8 different processors: 68000 (Mac Classic), 68030 (Macintosh TV), 68040 (Performa 575), G3 (rev. D iMac, B&W G3, PowerBook G3), G4 (dual 867 MDD G4), ARM7TDMI (iPod), ARM 610 (Newton 120), StrongARM 110 (Newton 2000). How about you?

Only 1 so far. But I can see a Dual G5 in my future which would bring my total to 3.

Do upgrade cards count? Technically they should because none of those other processors are Apple's processors. If they do then my total is 6.

Right now? Three a PB17, a Mini and a 4G 40GB iPod.
Now, if you include how many you've owned all together, the number goes up to ... about 10 more.

I never owned a G3, and I've given away all my 680XX and 60X cpu machines. Now, I've got an iPod, a bunch of G4s and 1 dual G5. I actually own 9 cpus, total.

1 6100 PowerMac
1 6205 Poopforma
1 Original Newton
1 Original iMac
1 B/W G3 tower
1 G4 mirror door tower.

I guess that would make 6.. depending on what is in the Newton.

Two or possibly three. I have a 7455 in my PowerMac G4, and a 750 in my Wallstreet (which has a dead motherboard). I don't have any others but it's possible that the embedded processor in my Palm uses the same processor as an iPod, or possibly one of the later Newton 2000/2100s.
