how do i get the sam print control box to open when i print
some aps use picture 1 and others use picture 2
i want box 1 for all printing jobs

Hit the arrow looking button to the right of the printer name. I believe they could still look different depending on which applications you happen to be using. But in general that should expand the print dialog and do the trick.
