I'm compiling a list of the best sites for 2 categories:

XHTML
CSS
Server Side

By best sites, I mean those with good tutorials and good articles etc. If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate if you could reply with the url and name.

Thanks,
Oliver

By best server side I'd go for http://www.php.net
but there's loads of great sites, and google is an incredible way of finding what you want rather than restricting yourself to one place... (All run as a Linux cluster (beowulf?) no less - impressive...)

Anyway - http://webfx.eae.net was my most hit website up until about 3 years ago. Incredible reference for client side scripting (javascript), and shows what you can really do when you decide to use javascript in a serious way. I haven't been there in ages, so I make no promises - but it was the best thing for us all at it's height...

Anyway - ALA and the w3c have a lot of good material...

In this day in age, I always hesitate to give out links, since google is so easy to use and brings up more than you'll ever need....
Just who are Britain? What do they? Who is them? And why?

A good site for CSS and a bit of XHTML, focusing mostly on compatibility and oddities of the various browsers, is http://www.quirksmode.org.
