You are so oppressed.

The movie theaters aren't playing your parents. Letting you in WOULD be playing your parents.

You parents have to option of buying your ticket for you. They can play the parents.

Good. About time. Silver Cities in Canada here have been getting away with murder when it comes to letting in kids to 18A movies. It's rather ridiculous when a bunch of 12-year-olds are in watching "Unfaithful" with you.....

Those ratings are for a reason. If your parents think you're mature enough, then they can gladly help you out.

I remember that time. Yeah, it felt stupid. It's not like you're going to become a different person as a result of seeing those movies, right? Guess what, that's life. Get over it.

hell, my pops let me see R movies when I was a young bloke.

I turned out just fine.

Linfidels harken! 'The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.'

hi zimph. guess what? you should get out more. because the signs say you need to have an adult with you to get in. as in, even if they do buy the ticket for you it you cant get in unless they're walking in with you.

It's to protect your underdeveloped mind from unsavoury influences. The need to ask such a question proves your underdevelopment.
If it doesn't scare hippies, it's not worth listening to
