I just got a Powerbook G3 from a friend and am really excited, but there is one problem, A Mutipal users log in is used at the opening screen and he dosn't remember the passwords for amy of the users. Is there any way I can bypass this and reset it?? thanks for the help.

If you could first bypass the bad grammer than you could possibly get a fair answer.

If I understood you correctly, if he is the actual administrator and cannot remember his password then a format and install may be required of the OS.

You'll need the mac osx install disks you don't actually have to reinstall but you have to boot from them(hold c while starting up with the disc in the drive)then go to a menu at the top of the screen and choose reset password, follow the onscreen prompts to reset it.

Computer sounds stolen to me! If not take to Apple Store and they will reset password!
